Raised in a ranching family in
West Texas, all of my education, both at home and at schools directed
me to a lifetime of involvement in land and livestock. After
completion of the Texas Christian University Ranch Management Program,
I worked on, managed and owned, bought and sold ranches, for myself and
my family, in several states.
Also, I have raised horses for over
forty years and, for many of those years, showed cutting horses from
coast to coast. If you would like to read about and see
pictures of horses I have owned and those I still own, I invite you to
go to www.twentytworanch.com
As a result of my education and
experiences, I have a good knowledge of soils, forages and ranch
improvement whether one wants to raise cattle, goats, sheep or horses.
For the last 22
years, my wife, Ginger and I have called the Arkansas Ozarks our home
and, at age 57,
I decided to get my real estate license so that I could help others find just
the right place to live here in this wonderful area.
I was pleased to be able to place my license
with American
Realty and Dan Richesin, a real estate broker that I
have known and had a
friendship with for two decades. Dan was raised in these hills
and, like me, has a lifetime of experience raising livestock and owning
and operating farms and ranches.
From a Texan's point of view, some of the best
things about this area are the good people, the clear, running water
and the air so fresh it feels as good as a drink of cool water just to
breathe it in. Plus, there are no fire ants (yet) and virtually
no mosquitoes.
I look forward to being able to assist you
with either purchasing or
selling real estate, particularly farms and ranches or unimproved
land.
